  The priory of the Priests

It was once one of the largest and richest monasteries of Epirus along with the priory of Prophet Elijah. The priory of the Priests, which was built near Lithino village and at an altitude of 400m, owned in the past huge amounts of land and it had properties even in Wallachia and Romania. The importance of the priory is justified by the fact that many historians, geographers and travelers have mentioned it in their work. It is one of the most important sites of that area that is worth to be visited if you ever travel there.
